Cookies are strings of text sent by a web server (e.g. the website) to the user’s Internet browser, automatically stored on the user’s computer and automatically sent back to the server each time the website is accessed or subsequently accessed. Each cookie contains various data such as, for example, the name of the server from which it comes, a numerical identifier, etc.. Cookies can remain in the system for the duration of a session (i.e. until you close the browser used to browse the web) or for longer periods and can contain a unique identification code. By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies, but each web browser allows you to restrict and delete cookies (for more information see the section of this policy on “How to disable, enable or delete cookies”). Please note, however, that disabling or deleting cookies may prevent the optimal use of some areas of the website or affect the use of services under authentication.

How to disable, enable, or delete cookies
By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies, which can be restricted or blocked through your browser settings. If you prefer that websites do not store any cookies on your computer, set your browser to notify you before any cookies are stored. Alternatively, you can set your browser to reject all cookies or only third party cookies. You can also delete any cookies already on your system. It is important to note that the settings must be changed separately on each browser and computer you use. Blocking cookies does not eliminate the display of advertisements. They will simply no longer be tailored to your interests and will be shown more frequently. Each browser’s settings are changed in a different way. If necessary, use your browser’s Help function to define the correct settings. For more information on cookie management, here are links to the most commonly used browsers:
